🌐 1. Platform Nature

Apparel Sambalpuri is a hybrid marketplace platform connecting customers with Sambalpuri handloom weavers, retailers, and sellers across Odisha and India. We are primarily a technology and operational platform that enables sellers to manage and sell their products efficiently, providing:

✔ Product discovery and online pre-booking
✔ Seller storefront access dashboards
✔ Offline + online billing support for sellers
✔ Order management infrastructure utilities
✔ Customer-to-weaver direct communication channels
✔ Shipping operation coordination assistance

📋 2. User Eligibility

  • You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or using the platform under legal supervision of a parent/guardian.
  • You agree to use the platform only for legitimate, lawful purchase and business purposes.
  • You agree not to misuse, copy, hack, manipulate, or disrupt the platform software layers or its underlying routing services.

* We reserve the right to suspend accounts involved in suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent activities.

🎨 3. Product Listings & Variations

  • Product stock availability depends entirely on the independent seller.
  • Slight variations in color, weaving pattern, or texture may occur due to handloom craftsmanship and screen settings.
  • Sellers are responsible for maintaining accurate product details, pricing, and inventory.
  • Apparel Sambalpuri does not manufacture every listed product directly unless specifically noted.

🛍️ 4. Ordering & Pre-Booking System

To confirm an order, customers are required to pay a partial advance booking amount (currently ₹230) through our secure payment gateway. The remaining amount is generally paid directly to the respective seller/weaver by the customer as per the seller’s preferred payment method.

Customers are strongly advised to contact the seller/weaver via WhatsApp before ordering to clarify:

• Live product confirmation
• Stock availability
• Color clarification
• Dispatch timelines
• Customization discussions

📲 The seller’s WhatsApp contact option is accessible via the platform WhatsApp icons located on the product display page and inside the order details section.

💳 5. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are displayed in INR (Indian Rupees). Taxes are included unless stated otherwise.
  • The advance booking amount is collected through our gateway framework. Remaining balances happen directly between customer and seller.
  • Apparel Sambalpuri is not responsible for settlement latency caused by banks, UPI nodes, or third-party gateways.

🚚 6. Processing & Shipping

  • Sellers/weavers prepare the order upon configuration approval. Shipping operations may be coordinated via our integrated cargo partners.
  • Tracking links deploy inside the customer order page panel upon tracking generation updates.
  • Delivery timelines vary based on location parameters, carrier volume bottlenecks, festivals, and climate situations.

❌ 7. Cancellation, Refund & Return Policy

A. Seller-Side Inability to Process

If a seller is unable to process due to inventory shortages, product damage, or operational issues, the customer’s ₹230 pre-booking amount will be processed for a refund, where a maximum of ₹5 may be deducted for gateway terminal costs and the rest will be refunded.

B. Customer Cancellation (Before Shipping)

If cancelled before shipping operations begin, a ₹80 operational charge will be deducted and the remaining balance refunded.

C. Customer Cancellation (After Shipping Starts)

Cancellation relies on carrier status. If successfully halted post-initiation, the full ₹230 booking amount is deducted as operational mitigation.

D. Returns & Exchanges

All post-delivery disputes, exchanges, and return configurations are negotiated directly with the fulfilling weaver. Apparel Sambalpuri does not independently guarantee returns or replacements.

E. Damaged / Defective Shipments

Damaged package drops must be logged directly with the seller immediately. Supporting photo/video proofs are required to initiate merchant review validation.

💬 8. Seller & Weaver Communication

The platform provides automated communication links to facilitate direct artisan contact. Customers are encouraged to verify item parameters, custom measurements, and structural pricing variables prior to completing checkout.

📊 9. Offline Billing & Seller Tools

We provide specialized business utility tool components for registered sellers, including:

• Offline POS Billing
• PDF Invoice Engines
• Thermal Printing Routines
• Excel Reporting Exports
• Inventory Audits
• Transaction Logs

⚖️ 10. Intellectual Property

All custom branding elements, system logic, styling templates, code architectures, databases, graphics, and print configurations remain exclusive property. Replication or reverse-engineering is strictly banned.

🛡️ 11. Limitation of Liability

We act as an intermediary system handler. We bear no liability for product design issues, inventory differences, transit damage delays, or payment failures. Global liability drops strictly to the actual service fees paid to our gateway.

🔐 12. Account Security

Users bear full personal responsibility for shielding account credentials, login cookies, and profile access paths. Infractions or account compromises must be reported to web administration teams instantly.

⚙️ 13 & 14. Governance & Tweaks

We retain unrestricted rights to modify tool layouts, pricing parameters, and operational frameworks without notice. These terms are governed under Indian legislation, with judicial limits fixed in Odisha, India.
